What is Nagara River Cormorant Fishing?
1300年以上の歴史を持つ、長良川の伝統漁法。
かがり火に照らされながら行われる鵜飼は、岐阜の夏を象徴する特別な時間です。
川面に揺れる炎と、静寂のなかに響く櫂の音。 昼とはまったく異なる表情を見せる長良川で、
日本の原風景に出会います。
開催期間と時間
長良川鵜飼は、毎年5月11日から10月15日まで開催されます。
※増水時や中秋の名月など、一部運休となる場合がございます
観覧船は夕刻に出船し、川上に停泊。
日没後、花火があがるとともに鵜飼が始まります。
鵜飼は、上から漁をしながら下り、
終盤には「総がらみ」と呼ばれる迫力ある漁法をご覧いただけます。
