Enjoy Gifu with a luxury plan
~Learning about cormorant fishing, exploring the Kawaramachi area and Gifu Castle~

The journey begins at Gifu-Hashima Station.
It takes about two hours from Tokyo Station to Gifu-Hashima. From Osaka Station, it takes just under an hour. We'll depart in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a bento box on the Shinkansen, building anticipation for the journey. We'll be waiting for you in an Alphard at Gifu-Hashima North Exit.

Deepen your knowledge at the Cormorant Fishing Museum.
It's about a 50-minute taxi ride from Gifu-Hashima to the Ukai Museum. Enjoy the scenery of Gifu city and the views from the window while relaxing comfortably in your seat. The Ukai Museum offers a chance to learn about the 1300-year history of cormorant fishing, as well as the cormorant fishermen and the cormorant ecosystem. The immersive guidance theater uses a picture scroll-style screen and a life-size cormorant fishing boat to realistically recreate the atmosphere of nighttime cormorant fishing. The floor projections, sound, and lighting create an exceptionally immersive experience. We recommend the lobby. The lounge overlooking the Nagara River and Kinka Mountain offers the best vantage point to enjoy the scenery of Gifu's hospitality. We hope you'll take a break here.

Stroll along the promenade beside the Nagara River.
Descending the stairs from the Cormorant Fishing Museum, the view of the Nagara River that unfolds is a favorite spot for Gifu residents. Walking along the promenade, the river breeze is pleasant, and the chirping of birds and the sound of the river are soothing. You can encounter beautiful scenery of Gifu. Continuing on, crossing the Nagara Bridge reveals different scenery on the opposite bank. Passing the Cormorant Fishing Boat Office, you enter the Kawaramachi area.

One of the joys of traveling is,
Relax at Nagara River Hot Springs
Stay at Nagara River Onsen for your trip to Gifu. A journey to discover the red spring bubbling up by the river. Nagara River Onsen is lined with inns along the Nagara River. Enjoy the scenery of the Nagara River, Kinka Mountain, and Gifu Castle, along with the hot springs. The hot spring water is rich in iron, and while the source water is colorless and transparent, it gradually changes to a cloudy red color when exposed to the air. It has been continuously selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Hot Springs by the Tourism and Economic Newspaper. ▼About the accommodation https://nagaragawa.org/stay

[Yado Ito] is perfect for travelers who want to experience the privacy and historical romance that only a whole house can offer.
I highly recommend "Yado Ito" (Juhachirou Hanare Yado Ito), a high-quality villa renovated for exclusive use. Its appeal lies in its high architectural and cultural heritage value, and how it elevates the "oldness" of its cultural heritage into a modern design. There are two types of private villas available, allowing for a completely private and free stay, truly experiencing what it's like to "live like a local." The spacious design, with a garden and deck, allows families and groups to relax comfortably, making it popular with families with children and multi-generational travelers. This Gifu accommodation is highly recommended for travelers seeking a special experience. Official Website>>>https://yadoito.18rou.com/
